Register your interest to attend a concurrent public apology event on 12 November
All places to Parliament have now been allocated, but there are still places available at concurrent events
Survivors of abuse in care and their ‘plus one’ are invited to register their interest to attend a concurrent public apology event on Tuesday 12 November from 9am to 2pm.
The public apology to survivors of abuse in care will be livestreamed from Parliament to the:
- Due Drop Events Centre, Auckland
- TSB Arena, Shed 6, Wellington
- Christchurch Town Hall, Christchurch.
You can register your interest to attend the event closest to where you live, by:
- calling the Crown Response Unit: 0800 717 017 (8:30am - 4:30pm Monday - Friday)
- emailing the Crown Response Unit: contact@abuseinquiryresponse.govt.nz
Registration closes 4.30pm Thursday 31 October
But you can also turn up on the day from 9am.
Accommodation, travel and food costs will be covered. Travel assistance will be provided in forms of air travel, petrol vouchers, gift cards, and train, and bus tickets.
